Welcome to 2022 and a new look at the 30 Minutes in the Life team. Last year we were all weary and by November, I too was tired. So I called for a mini sabbatical for all of us. Moving into 2022, some ladies have opted to leave, new ladies have joined and we have our first guy on the team.
Welcome back to our regular ladies, April, Meagan, Crystal, Janet and Sharleen. Also to rejoin the group is Kristina and Ashley, welcome back, we are glad to have you back with us. Brand new to the team is Christina, Arthur, Beth and a big welcome to you. Thank you for joining us.
We are all hopeful that 2022 will give us the time to get out and enjoy 30 minutes of time, whether it be in the neighborhood, on a vacation, a daily trip, something that we can find inspiration in.
This is who we are:
“In the life of a photographer, whose art is created in tiny fractions of a second, thirty minutes is a sustained thought. Thirty minutes, the length of a child’s ballet class, a quick sauce’s simmer, a commute, is long enough to witness change and short enough to be over before you know it. We offer you here our monthly results of thirty minutes of watching and waiting and recording, of rendering permanent those fractions of a second that slip past in the time it takes to watch a television show. Thirty minutes in the life.”
While this is a group blog, it is not just about us, you can share images from your 30 minutes in your life on our Facebook page or IG page and tag it #30minutes and the month that you are sharing in. So for January tag it #30minutes_January22. That way we will be able to search your images and share them on our pages.
Below is a sneak peak of what to expect from the blogs.
I am excited to see what this year will bring with each of the bloggers and their stories.
If you are in the north, our thoughts are with you as you deal with the snowstorm that has dumped so much snow over the last week. We are even cold in the south (for us who are used to excessive heat, this cold is a shock).
Just a reminder that this is a circle blog, so follow the links on each photographer’s page to get to the next. Let us know you stopped by, by leaving a like or a comment. For more on the group, you can check out the different tabs on this webpage. Don’t forget to share with us your 30 minutes image on our Facebook page or our Instagram page for a chance to be highlighted.
