30 Minutes in the Life: May 2022

It seems like we are having another quiet month with just a few of us blogging. There seems to be so much going on. Schools are out, or if not out, going to be out soon. Plans are being made. I for one am looking at traveling again after such a long time of staying at home.

But for now, lets see what everyone else has been up to this past month.

30 Minutes in the Life: April 2022

I love this time of year, when spring is happening. It is not hot, nor is it cold, although I did see snow up north the other day. The days seem fresher and I feel a little bit more inspired to want to do things. To smell the coffee so to speak and to get out and about.

This month the artists of 30 Minutes in the Life, share just a fraction of their lives during the past 30 days

30 Minutes in the Life: January 2022

Welcome to 2022 and a new look at the 30 Minutes in the Life team. Last year we were all weary and by November, I too was tired. So I called for a mini sabbatical for all of us. Moving into 2022, some ladies have opted to leave, new ladies have joined and we have our first guy on the team.

Welcome back to our regular ladies, April, Meagan, Crystal, Janet and Sharleen. Also to rejoin the group is Kristina and Ashley, welcome back, we are glad to have you back with us. Brand new to the team is Christina, Arthur, Beth and a big welcome to you. Thank you for joining us.

We are all hopeful that 2022 will give us the time to get out and enjoy 30 minutes of time, whether it be in the neighborhood, on a vacation, a daily trip, something that we can find inspiration in.

This is who we are:

“In the life of a photographer, whose art is created in tiny fractions of a second, thirty minutes is a sustained thought. Thirty minutes, the length of a child’s ballet class, a quick sauce’s simmer, a commute, is long enough to witness change and short enough to be over before you know it. We offer you here our monthly results of thirty minutes of watching and waiting and recording, of rendering permanent those fractions of a second that slip past in the time it takes to watch a television show. Thirty minutes in the life.”

While this is a group blog, it is not just about us, you can share images from your 30 minutes in your life on our Facebook page or IG page and tag it #30minutes and the month that you are sharing in. So for January tag it #30minutes_January22. That way we will be able to search your images and share them on our pages.

Below is a sneak peak of what to expect from the blogs.

I am excited to see what this year will bring with each of the bloggers and their stories.

If you are in the north, our thoughts are with you as you deal with the snowstorm that has dumped so much snow over the last week. We are even cold in the south (for us who are used to excessive heat, this cold is a shock).

30 Minutes in the Life: September 2021

It’s September, and we just have a few more months before it is the end of the year. I keep thinking time is dragging then I realize just how fast it is going. I personally am feeling a little home bound, and it looks like Kim may be as well. Ceri on the other hand looks like she is taking us to a travel destination. I cannot wait to see where we are off to.

This year has taken it’s toll on all of us and I am sure that you are all feeling the same. The blog group is small again this month, but I love that they have joined me to share their 30 Minutes.

July 2021

30 Minutes in the Life: July 2021

It’s July. It’s been a long 2 years for all of us, and honestly I think we are all a bit worn out. The summer in the south has been brutal. When it is not hot it is raining and pushing up the humidity levels. As I write this I am waiting for the results of a Covid Test. It seems like we all have our stuff going on.

But life does go on and we get to do the things we would like to do although we have restrictions. We are attempting to live the normal, while the normal is still so far away.

Janet and I have managed to blog this month. So take a peak at the blogs we have prepared for you.
